What is a cable reel trailer used for?
It carries a loaded cable drum to site and lets the crew unwind cable in a controlled way. The drum is raised on a spindle so it turns freely while a pulling winch draws cable into trenches, ducts or along overhead lines.
What is the difference between a hydraulic and a full hydraulic trailer?
A hydraulic trailer uses a hand-pump system to raise and lower the drum, and you position and pay off cable manually. A full hydraulic trailer powers the lift, braking and pay-off, so it handles much heavier drums and keeps pace with a pulling winch.
Which capacity (ton) do I need for my drum?
Match the trailer’s rated capacity to the full weight of your heaviest loaded drum and leave a margin. Tell us your typical drum weight, diameter and width and we’ll point you to the right model from 4 to 30 ton.
What is the maximum drum diameter your trailers can carry?
Each model has a maximum drum diameter and width set by the arm height and spindle. Share your largest reel’s dimensions and we’ll confirm which trailers fit — we can also build special sizes.
Can the trailer be towed on public roads?
Our Highway-Range trailers come with road brakes, lights and reflectors for travel between sites, while Site-Range units are made for off-road use. Always check the towing and licensing rules in your country.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We’re based in Kocaeli, Turkey and deliver worldwide, handling export packing and documentation. Our trailers regularly ship to projects across the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
What maintenance does a cable reel trailer need?
Routine care is simple: keep the spindle and moving parts greased, check the hydraulic oil and hoses, inspect tyres, brakes and lights, and look over the chassis for damage. We supply guidance and spare parts.
Do you provide accessories and spare parts?
We do — drum spindles and shafts, jacks and stands, rollers and couplings, plus replacement parts for the trailers themselves.
